Shunning: Is it really a bad thing?
by thinker ini met my jw wife about 5 years ago.
she da'd shortly after we met and like most people i thought it was terribly strange and wrong that her family shunned her.
for the first two years of our marriage my wife would call her parents on a fairly regular basis.

You know what's funny is I know personally a sex offender that is in jail. His wife ran a daycare and it seemed he was fondling and I don't know what else ..to the children she was watching. He confessed and is in jail now. I have looked on several sex offender register's and he is not listed on one of them! How come? I even know the area he is in.
What I did find out is a policeman I used to know when I worked at the bank has a son that is a registered sex offender!..

Got to Go In the Hospital Tuesday
by Undecided ini've had bhp for several years, but last week it became so enlarged i couldn't pee.
the urologist let me see if it would shrink by leaving me on catheterization for several days and remove it to see if i could pee, no luck.
today he looked at my bladder through my penis.

I see so many ads for medication to shrink the prostate I'm surprised nothing worked for you. Have you tried medication?
I heard nightmare stories about cath. and men..was it a really painful procedure? It sounds horrible.
Did you have a PSA done to make sure everthing was OK?
My poor daughter has a urinary tract infection and she is going through the same thing.She can't pee good. They gave her some antibiotics so hopefully it will clear up.They told her a few moths ago that she had a kidney stone. So she thought maybe she was trying to pass it.OUCH..
Hope all works out for you. How long will you be in the hospital? Or is it outpatient?

My MRI results are in

well, i found out i have shoulder tendonitis.

When I tore my shoulder..the Doc said I needed a special test other than an MRI. He gave me a shot of Novacain in the joint and then he had to put a BIG needle with dye in it into the joint to take pictures. (X-rays.)
Well it showed the tear a lot better than an MRI. I was scheduled for an operation but I kept putting it off. Believe it or not..with excercise it slowly quit hurting.
The best part was when I got the novacaine shot..it finally gave me some relief from that sharp stabbing pain.
I had the cortisone first and that did nothing. If it doesn't help they may possibly want to do the dye X Ray.
I also had a separated shoulder from when I fell off our sailboat. That hurt like a son of a gun. But not as bad as the tear!
When I fell and tore my knee tendons..I did have the operation. They also had scrapped some calcium off the joint. I had imediate relief but every once in a while it aches.
I hope all goes well for you..let us know what the orthopedic Dr says.
